When I think about why I play certain videos games, a few different reason come to mind: difficulty, character creation, story, level up,and overall visual appearance of the game. I actually really enjoyed playing God of War III and I don’t think too many people would think to recommend this game to a girl because of the gore that is very present in the game. Also, I think that most people would assume that an average girl, that isn’t a hardcore, geeky gamer girl, is going to want to play the cutesy game. God of War III is not a girly, cutesy game in any way with the gore and overall dark theme.

I started reading the Hunger Games trilogy when I heard that there was a movie being made and that it was supposed to create a craze similar to the Twilight Trilogy. I did the same thing with the Twilight books and became an instant fan and was blind to all the craziness the plot of the story holds. I have read in some reviews of the Hunger Games that it puts Twilight to shame and I kept this in mind while reading to form my own opinion.
